CLEVELAND, Ohio- Peace in the Hood, a grassroots greater Cleveland organization led by community activist Khalid Samad, will host its annual Arts of Peace Youth Art Show on Friday, Oct 17 from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm at 13815 Kinsman Road in Cleveland. Artwork by greater Cleveland children can be purchased at the event, which is billed as a vehicle to push kids to utilized their time in an effective manner and to choose educational endeavors over violence.
Organizers said that the Arts4Peace program is designed to give kids an alternative to violence through the arts, which also include dancing, singing, positive youth rap and poetry.
