CLEVELAND URBAN NEWS.COM-CLEVELAND, Ohio-Hillary Clinton's campaign for president will officially open its Northeast Ohio office in Cleveland in Shaker Square tonight, Feb 24, at 7:30 pm, her campaign has said.
The event, said organizers, is a party and phone bank, led mainly by greater Cleveland Black elected officials. They include, both Black and White alike, Warrensville Heights Mayor Brad Sellers, Cleveland City Council members Jeff Johnson, Zack Reed and Matt Zone, and Cuyahoga County Council members Anthony Hairston and Shontel Brown.
Clinton leads her Democratic opponent, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, in delegates and is 15 points ahead in Ohio, 55 percent to 40 percent, a Feb 23 Quinnipiac poll shows.
The primary for both Republicans and Democrats in Ohio is March 15.
