Hello from Legal Aid!

CLEVELAND, Ohio- As March begins we have a busy calendar of free legal advice clinics coming up in Kirtland, Chagrin Falls, Cleveland, Oberlin, Ashtabula, and Lorain! We encourage you to circulate this information with your networks.

Legal Aid is hiring for several roles, including Administrative Assistants and Attorneys. Visit the careers page on our website for a full list of current openings and details about how to apply.

Mortgage Foreclosure and Housing Resource Event – March 7
On Tuesday, March 7, from 4:30 – 7:30 PM, Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court will host a FREE Mortgage Foreclosure and Housing Resource Event at St. Ignatius High School. Information will be available for those needing help with mortgage foreclosure and delinquency – including community resources, assistance programs, and advice. Visit the court's website for more info

Free Tax Preparation Assistance Programs
Free resources are available to help low-income Northeast Ohio residents with tax preparation. Call 2-1-1 or visit our website for links to tax preparation assistance programs throughout our service area.

Upcoming Legal Clinics
Legal Aid hosts clinics at community centers and libraries throughout Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, and Lorain Counties. At these clinics, staff and volunteers are available for in-person consultations to provide brief advice and counsel about civil legal issues. View the events calendar on our website, or see the list of upcoming clinics below:

We continue to host regular Expungement Clinics for those who need assistance sealing a criminal record. Call 888-817-3777 to schedule an Expungement Clinic appointment.
