CLEVELAND URBAN NEWS.COM-CLEVELAND, Ohio-Legendary rock'n' roll musician Chuck Berry (pictured), who was a guitarist, singer and songwriter, and a pioneer of the development of rock 'n' roll is dead at 90.
Berry died on March 18 in St Charles, Missouri of old age.
He grew up middle class in Saint Louis, Mo., the the fourth of six children, and began his career as a member of the John Johnson trio ultimately embarking on a solo career. and mimicking Black singing such as the great Nat King Cole, and Muddy Waters.
He was among the musicians indicted into the Cleveland-based Rock and Roll Hall of Fame relative to its opening in 1996.
Berry's 1973 red Cadillac Eldorado is among collection of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C., which now owns the artifact
