Organizers said that Clinton will "discuss her vision for America that is stronger when united and will lay out what is at stake in November."

The former secretary of state will face Donald Trump, the presumptive nominee for the Republican Party, in the upcoming November election.

The event is scheduled to begin at 12:30 pm. EST, and is one of three political events planned that day by Clinton. The others are fundraising activities in Cincinnati, OH and New York City.

Clinton's campaign visit to Cleveland comes on the heels of Tuesday's primaries that clinched the delegates she needs to win the nomination, an historic election that makes her the first woman to lead a presidential ticket of a major political party in America.

It also follows Thursday's endorsement by President Obama, the first Black president of the United States whose second four-year term ends in January.

"I don't think there has ever been somebody so qualified to hold this office," said Obama of Clinton during a three-minute press statement. "She's got the courage, the compassion and the heart to get the job done."

Ohio is a pivotal state for presidential elections and Cleveland will host the Republican National Convention the week of July-18-21.(www.clevelandurbannews.com) / (www.kathywraycolemanonlinenewsblog.com). Tel: (216) 659-0473 and Email: editor@clevelandurbannews.com
