CLEVELAND URBAN NEWS.COM-CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio -A young, Black male was shot and killed early Tuesday morning at the Sunny-Spot Lounge on Noble Road in Cleveland Heights.
Dejon D. Forbes, 24, of Cleveland died at University Hospitals Case Medical Center after being shot at the popular bar that was renovated in recent years and typically draws patrons twenty something to thirty something years old.
Two other Black males were shot and wounded but survived the ordeal.
The second victim was shot in the hip and arrived at the hospital shortly after Forbes was transported by EMS.
He was treated and released.
Police have not released the names of the other two shooting victims.
The bar was cornered off at 8:00 am Tuesday morning and police are investigating the tragedy, including a bullet-riddled car.
Multiple police cruisers lit up the street near the bar in the middle class suburb of Cleveland that has a population of some 40,000 people and is roughly 43 percent Black and the eighth largest city in greater Cleveland.
Police said Tuesday that the investigation is ongoing.
