Editor's note: All of the following have essentially won unofficially, though Hillary Clinton lost Ohio and the presidency to Donald Trump and Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas Judge John O'Donnell is trailing state appellate court judge Pat Fischer for a seat on the Ohio Supreme Court by some 24, 000 votes His lost is in part, a by-product of his fallout with the Black community and Black elected officials for acquitting a since fired White Cleveland cop of manslaughter charges that gunned down two unarmed Blacks in 2012.

CLEVELAND URBAN NEWS.COM-CLEVELAND, Ohio-With some 98 percent of the vote counted, unofficial Nov 8 election night results of the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections in close races and some others being closely watched reveal that Hillary Clinton is beating Donald Trump for president in the heavily Democratic county, the largest of Ohio's 88 counties. She, however, is losing Ohio, and the presidency.

Republican Matt Dolan is winning for state representative in District 24 over Democrat Emily Hagan and Republican Dave Greenspan, a Cuyahoga County Councilman, is winning for state representative over Tommy Greene in District 16.

Democrat state representatives Kent Smith, Janine Boyd and Stephanie Howse are also winning and Meryl Tolbert Johnson, a retired Cleveland schools teacher, is winning heavily for the State Board of Education.

Democratic Common Pleas Judge John O'Donnell is winning over Republican state appeals Court Judge Pat Fischer in his home county for a seat on the Ohio Supreme Court but is trailing statewide.

For other hotly contested races for some open seats on the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas, which hears felony and other cases, Democrat Sherrie Miday is beating sitting Republican Common Pleas Judge Matthew and sitting Republican Common Pleas Judge Joan Synenberg is beating Andrea Nelson Moore, who is Black and backed by 11th Congressional District Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge, a Clinton ally who is Black like More and  is winning reelection with ease.

Democrat Tonya Jones, who will be the lone Black on the court, is winning over Republican Cleveland Municipal Court Judge Janet Rath Colaluca for a Domestic Relations Court in Cuyahoga County as are sitting Democratic judge Diane Palos over Donna Coury and sitting Democratic judge Frankie Goldberg over Republican John Mayer,

The Cleveland schools tax levy renewal is winning with widespread support while the city income tax increase, the first request to voters since 1981, is barely winning.
